The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Khartoum aims to fulfill the commitment ‘leave no one behind’ stated by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and in close with IOM and UNHCR is supporting more than 1 million refugees coming from Sud Sudan, Eritrea, Ethipia, Sirian, Chad, CRCA and Yemen mainly concentrated in Eastern State, Darfur, Kordafan and White Nile. AICS with the UN agency is ensuring their protection, access to primary services (health and wash) and nutrition.
Inclusion of refugee children in national child protection systems is an important step towards fulfilling our collective commitments to the SDGs.
