Approval of 4.6 MEuro for Cameroon and Chad |

The Deputy Minister Emanuela Del Re has approved a 3.6 MEuro for a regional bilateral emergency initiative in Cameroon and Chad in the following sectors: health, water, hygiene, environment, agriculture, food security and protection.

0.5 MEuro was also approved for UNWOMEN for actions to help to increase the capacity to prevent and combat gender-based violence in the south-west and north-western regions of Cameroon and 0.5 MEuro in favor of WFP for the treatment of acute and moderate malnutrition for children under 5 years of age and pregnant women.
