Gender equality, a global challenge, the Agency brings the European campaign to the streets

On Friday May 25^th,  the city of Rome hosted the European Commission #HerWorldOurWorld event in conjunction with seven other European Cities.
The Italian event took place in Piazza del Popolo, from 9:00 to 18:00, organized by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Testimonial of the initiative was Tiziana Ferrario, Rai journalist, conductor and foreign policy envoy.
Inside the AICS stand, it was possible to involve the public in a fun experiment on bikes. The goal was to show that the path of women's lives is still too often uphill, especially in developing countries, but not only. Because promoting women's rights is everyone's responsibility, everywhere.
