Sudanese delegation visited CIMA Reaseach Foundation in Savona

The visit of the experts of the Sudanese Metereological Authority and the National Council for Civil Defense to the CIMA Foundation in Savona has successfully ended.
The training was focused on weather forecasting for #earlywarning prevention of floods and droughts. An important opportunity for Sudanese colleagues to share data and information to develop, within the APIS project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, procedures, techniques and tools for numerical meteorological prevention with WRF (Weather Research & forecasting model).
The Sudanese delegation accompanied by the experts of the CIMA Research Foundation visited the Functional Meteo-Hydrological Center of Civil Protection of the Liguria Region and the ARPAL - Regional Agency for the protection of the environment.
