AICS Bangui Office – Supply of 9.350 NFI to IDPs population in CAR

In the framework of the the "Emergency Initiative in Support of the Central African Republic - AID 11743" , 9,350 NFI kits has been delivered to support IDPs population  in Central African Republic. More than half of the Central African population, around 2.8 million people, continues to depend on humanitarian aid and, following the deterioration of the humanitarian and security situation due to the presidential and electoral elections, around 200,000 people have been forced to abandon their homes. The protection of IDPs is therefore among the most urgent needs of the population, together with the supply of basic necessities, basic health care, water and sanitation. To respond to this emergency, AICS, in collaboration with UNHCR, purchased NFI kits to be allocated to 9,350 families in the Kaga-Bandoro, Bambari and Obo regions.
