The Italian Agency for Development and Cooperation – Khartoum Office – is currently managing programmes which aim to fight poverty and to improve the social and health conditions of the population. Among the cross-cutting sectors particular attention is given to social inclusion and gender aspects such as women's empowerment. AICS intends to create a shortlist of companies which could be part of the future procurement processes of medical equipment
