“A Sudanese Heroine” – A Comics Competition to celebrate International Women’s Day

AICS Khartoum is pleased to promote the “A Sudanese Heroine ” Comics Competition!
The competition is open to Sudanese illustrators of all genders.
Through comic strips, we ask illustrators to explore and depict the profound significance of International Women’s Rights Day within the intricate reality of women’s lives in contemporary Sudan.
Your artwork should capture the diversity of experiences, challenges, and triumphs that Sudanese women face, highlighting their roles and resilience in unique social, political, and economic contexts.

The initiative is carried out in the framework of the project WE-RISE! – Women’s Empowerment for Resilience, funded by the European Union and jointly implemented by AICS – Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and UN Women.
