On 5-7 July 2020 our partners Centro di Salute Globale (Global Health Centre) and Oxfam carried out a training of trainers on prevention and control of infections, with a focus on COVID-19, in Port Sudan. Aimed at health staff of health centres in Sudan's Red Sea State, the training focussed on the norms for infection prevention in health centres, to ensure a correct use of the procedures for infection control in the management of patients.
The training, which is part of an ongoing training plan that will cover the 8 health centres supported by Oxfam, was held in the framework of the Programme "Strengthening resilience for refugees, IDPs and host communities in Eastern Sudan" funded by the European Union.
